What to Bring to Camp


***  PLEASE LABEL ALL OF YOUR CHILD’S BELONGINGS  ***

 

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING TO DAY CAMP (in a single labelled backpack or bag):

  • Towels
  • Socks and underwear
  • Pants and shorts
  • Short and long sleeved shirts
  • Warm sweater and jacket
  • Swim suit
  • Raincoat & rubber boots or extra (old) footwear
  • Sunscreen, hat, & water bottle (label with first and last name)
  • A Doctor’s written order to administer any medication you bring to camp
  • Lunch, snacks and drinks (not needed for Overnight Camps)

OPTIONAL:

  • Insect repellent
  • Musical instrument
  • Reading material

***With the exception of lunch/snack items and medications, bags/backpacks can be stored on site during the week of Day Camp. If the camper’s bag is being left on site, please notify staff so they are aware and can store it appropriately.***

 

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING TO OVERNIGHT CAMPS:

In addition to the list above, bring…

  • Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, pillow
  • Warm pyjamas
  • Soap, towels and face cloth
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Comb and brush
  • Flashlight (optional)

Please do NOT bring the following:

  • Any article of clothing that references drugs, alcohol, tobacco, anything of a sexual nature, or anything that may be considered offensive to people of a different race, religion, geographic location, socioeconomic background, gender, sexual identity, etc.
  • Unnecessary valuables such as a cellphone, MP3 players/iPods, tablet/iPad, hand-held video games, etc.
  • It is not recommended to have cell phones at camp. In case of an emergency, the camp phone will always be available. Special arrangements may be made with the Program Coordinator.
  • ***The camp will not accept responsibility for items damaged or lost while you are at camp.***
